About “Daphne”

This '92 camaro, 25th anv edition, T-Top was originaly an RS with the 5.0L 305. 5 speed manual. I've modified it with a new high performance LUK clutch, cause I'm Hell on clutches.I replaced the motor with a 330hp 5.7L GM crate motor and performance parts such as Edelbrock performer TBI intake manifold, MSD ignition, Hedman headers, March underdrive pullies, Flow~Master exhaust and of course K&N air filter and throttle body spacer. I also just had the fuel pump replaced with a high flow 700cfm. I've replaced the stock hood with a 4" cowl induction hood and have painted the body a harlequin blue to red which gives it a unique purplish color that changes in the sun. I've also had the door handles shaved and installed a keyless door popper. I still have some maintenance and cosmetic work I would like to have done. I need to install an adjustable throttle position sensor, new injectors. As for the cosmetics, I've just added color changing lights for ground effects, and would like to eventually add lamborghini style door hinges. I've also upgraded the stereo system with a sony Xplode cd player and new speakers all the way around with a bass tube and an amp that really bumps! After all the modifications I had made, I didn't want to put the RS emblams back on but I couldn't exactly put on SS or Z28 either so I customized it with my initials, RG.

About “The Z”

Purchased in Feb 2001 with 47k on the odo.
I've been moding it slowly, progressively,
to make it the car it is today.

Not a show car, or dyno queen.

A clean, fast, driver, with style, class, and performance.
Currently with over 120k on the odo.

Mods for “Daphne”

I've replaced the stock motor with the 330hp GM crate motor and also replaced all the old engine accessories with new performance mods. MSD ignition w/8mm wires, Edelbrock Performance intake manifold, March underdrive pullies, Heddman Headers, Flow~Master exhaust, K&N filter with a Jegs Xtreme lid and a Hi-Flow 1.5" throttle body spacer. I've also replaced the stock clutch with a high performance LUK clutch 'cause I'm hell on clutches.I've also just added 7 color changing lights underneath. Since I've made all these modifications and upgrades I didn't want to put the original RS emblem back on it but I couldn't exactly put the Z28 on it either so I customized it with RG, my initials.
