This is my 3rd 66. Bought this last year in June, flew to Seattle, Washington and drove her home. Left Thursday at 8 PM Central Time, Got in Sunday 9 AM Central time, many miles and $460 dollars in gas later.
This vehicle was custom built,in 1999 when it was off frame restored.everything from front to rear is new ,not rebuilt! The truck was chopped 4 and a half inches and channeled 4 inches,the front end went under a total reconstruction with a custom roll pan with a taper in the center all made of steel (not fiberglass).Rain gutter were molded into the body,has a single frenched antenna on the drivers side,door handle and mirrors have been removed and smoothed along with recessed license plate in tailgate,truck also has over louvers punched in hood and tailgate.There are well over 1000 hours of bodywork alone the was labored over for nearly a year ,everyday working on this truck.Truck was painted at Grandpa's Rod & Customs in Pigeon forge,Tenn.Truck has full custom interior,done in wine burlap,with many custom bowtie inlays throughout ,bed and cab interiors match,bed also has custom tool box as well as car cover compartment and a separate compartment for the jack and compressor,bed is covered in 100 percent white Corinthian Leather with an embroidered bowtie in the center with the year of the truck in the bowtie itself,truck has billet covered 350 ci,with auto trans ,headman headers and mufflers.
Have been working on the car ever since. No 1/4 times. 454 CI, 450 HP, TH400 trans with shift kit and 3,000 stall converter. Rear gear appears to be 3.73.
