Ive has this car since 1995 been doing car show's ,cruise nite's , was in the car craft summer cruise event in 1997 and a car calender in 2004 and 2005. Cuda-Challenger.com car calender 2008 and voted the "hottest rod in lincoln 2007" radio contest.
I purchased this car on September 25 2010 from a neighbor 3 blocks away. They had owned the car since 1981 and I would see them driving around in the car occasionally. I had visited with them several times (talking Oldsmobiles). I had mentioned to them years ago if they ever wanted to sell the car to let me know. Well I never thought it would happen but they showed up at my door and said they wanted to sell the car and if I was still interested. OF COURSE I'M INTERESTED!! The rest is history, I got the car bought and now I'm doing little things to make the car a little nicer until I restore it. The car is a great driver the way it is. The girl friend refers to it as the White Trash Mobile because of the CB, the CB Antenna on the truck lid, the trailer hitch and the Pontiac wire spoke hub caps. I have removed all of the above except for the hub caps. I've ordered a set of BFG Radial TA's and I'm restoring a set of SS1 rims to replace the old wheels when they arrive. Other things I will be doing to the car is replacing the bench seat with a set of buckets and a console. The car is equiped with factory air, a speed minder speedometer and a rare rim blow steering wheel that I will replace with a Sport Steering Wheel. A Ram Air hood will be in it's future when I restore the car. Until then I'm going to drive it and enjoy it.
