My dad bought a brand new one back in 87 he said it was his favorite car so once he seen this one at Ebensburg Auto Auction he had to have it and once I seen it I had to have it so I traded the truck, now to do some easy resto work thanks to the solid body and a 1 owner history so far Ive already redone the interior replaced the old rubber heavy weight on the hatch with a new light weight fiberglass spoiler new center caps painted the front and rear bumpers and new tires.shes just waiting for summer!!! This summer I want to paint the rear quaters roof and the hood maby get the front fenders and doors ok the hole car ;)
Christine was handed down to me from my aunt who couldn't afford to keep up maintenance on it let alone restore it, before her it was handed down from my late cousin. Her name is Christine because of the classic movie only because of weird things that happened to my aunt and cousin when it was in their possession. Ex: Brakes have failed only for moments at a time even with new pads and rotors on them, my aunt went to work and when she went outside for a break she found her in a ditch behind the parking lot, etc... I just thing it is a beautiful car with a lot of potential and would love for her beauty to shine through.
