I am from the Mississippi Gulf Coast and I work at one of the local Casino's here. I moved to Las Vegas after Hurricane Katrina for work. After living there for a few weeks, I had to get a car because I was depending on other ppl to get me to work. I bought this car in Oct. of '05 and it had barely over 60k miles and I got it for $6k out the door. Pretty good deal I think. No body damage and the inside was pretty clean. After moving back to MS in June of '06, the Mountain Cat came with me and made the 2k mile trip with no problem. In January of '08 I hit some debris on the road coming home one night from work and totaled my car! I bought her back from the insurance Co. and repaired the damage, but the fuel lines were destroyed and, with my luck, they were discontinued from the factory. So began my 2yr search for fuel lines! After finally finding some in good shape, the Cat is purring again. Another yr passes before I get the work on the front end completed, Upper and Lower Control Arms, tires, etc........, and get the road inspection so I can get my tag. Now I have my "Rebuilt Title" and the car isn't worth much to anyone but me. Now, I begin my quest to really make this Cat purr! This is all real new to me, so I'm not real sure where to begin, but I do need new rims for her because I believe mine are warped from the accident and I would love to have her painted. The body is in excellent condition. No dings or rust. Just oxidation, scratches and what looks like the clear coat wearing off. Any input would be greatly excepted!
A 1993 Lincoln Mark VIII. I have a body shop so I just painted this one up as my driver to take to local car shows to advertise my shop this summer. This is actually my seventh one of these ... I like these cars. They have the Mustang Cobra aluminum motor and make a very nice ride for not too much money.
1997 Cougar XR7 Modular 4.6L 235hp/320tq
4 Speed Trans. 4R70W
Has the 4.6 Litre double overhead cam aluminum cobra type motor in it with 285 hp. While newer cars are putting out more and more power, 18 years ago this was quite the "cat's meow" for Ford. Most people don't know that this motor came out first in this Lincoln before it came out in the Cobra Mustang. These cars also came out with air ride suspension that lowered the car at highway speeds.
30th Anniversary Edition, so it has all the Factory ops!
Pretty well loaded with the Lincoln Luxury and DOHC performance, premium sound system, memory seats and sunroof with rain senor. I've upgraded the wheels to those from a '98 LSC version, but still Lincoln Mark VIII wheels.

Saleen Speedstars 245/45ZR18
I've painted it with a true Candy Apple Red (6 coats of transparent red over a silver base) over black with a hint of red pearl on the black, all covered in multiple layers of clear-coat and sanded, re-cleared and sanded & buffed to remove paint ridges between colors. Changed out to '98 Mark VIII LSC wheels. The air suspension becomes problematic when older so converted to springs & shocks. Custom done Lincoln/Cobra emblem and nameplates painted under the clear.
