About “Dad's Vette”

This is my dad's pride and joy. He got it a long time ago.

About “bumble bee”

bought in 1985 from original owner and sold in 1997 bought back in 2000 and turned into a outlaw street car for NMCA 9 second class 1/4 mile have not run 1/8 mile yet should be fast
Has 33,000 original mile on it and all original sheet metal
and interior looks and smells new still stored inside almost all its life cig lighter has never been used and wing windows never opened.was butter nut yellow but repainted sun and bright yello installed 427 12 bolt and 400 in june of 1968 and have all paper work on car.full documentation even protecto plate.This is a true outlaw steet car,its a driver not a trailer queen.
500cid 12.50 -1 compression
merlin 2 heads worked over ported and polished
victor jr manifold also ported to match heads
1000 cfm drag race demon carb that has been tewaked just a little.ha ha
aeromotive fuel system,also have 300 shot pro fogger nitros kit not installed yet but dont need it at this point.not a nitros fan just got a good deal at a swap meet on it.

sorry cant give up exact engine specs.
2 1/4 primary tube headers coated
i do have 4 inch custom exhaust for the street that is also coated.
msd pro billet dist.and msd 7al box with coil w/ timming controlr.
fabricated brackets to fit chevelle radiator between frame rails and cut 4 inch out of rad support.radiator from becool and twin fans. 1 inch tubes

front hotchkis springs 2 in drop and energy suspension bushings w stock conrtol arms ,it is a outlaw street car.maybe tubular later.
m/t sporsman 26.7.50- 15 tires up front
no chrome all parts are polished billit aluminum
4 inch steel cowl hood made by dynacorn i waited 4 years for this hood because i refused to go fiberglass and wanted one that fit perfect and it did it was woth the wait and i got thje very first one made for the 68 to 72 nova..i do still have the stock hood put away.
