This was my grandmother's car that I acquired in 2008. She didn't really take care of it but it was garage kept, so it stayed away from any hard deterioration. I take care of it to the best of my ability, keeping it shiny and intact. I hit a deer in 2010 and paid $2,000 to have most of the front replaced by a local company that knew my family. She also had a factory defect involving the camshaft that caused her to break down twice, but that has since been resolved (to my knowledge). And as of May 2013, I have a freshly rebuilt transmission!
This truck is sort of a special truck being that it is one of the first 1995 models with the new body style. This truck was built for the in house Toyota Sales Executives. It is fully loaded with every option that came on Toyota Trucks at that time. It stayed with Toyota for almost 5 years being used in house by Toyota employees and racked up 16.175 miles on it before it was sold to it's first real owner in November 2000. (That's right it stayed with Toyota for almost 5 years and only 16.175 miles) It was sold to a Toyofa employee She kept this truck for 12 years before selling it to me. It was always garaged and never off road and is in pristine condition for being 18 years old.
