i've had the ol girl 7 years now. its not the fastest hot rod in the world but its decent and turns heads
This is my race car. I bought it a few years ago from brothers in Kansas City who built it from the ground up. I only tracked it a couple of times before I blew the engine. My wrench, Sean Cahill, put in another one in 2006, so we're up and running again. The name came from the corner workers at Mid America Motorplex and probably due to the fact that I'm a girl. The engine was built by Sean Cahill of Shamrock Racing, has a ported head, Dougherty full race cam, Euro high compression pistons, fully balanced and blueprinted. Bilstein shocks and RS sway bars. She's run at Barber Motorsports Park outside Birmingham, Alabama, Heartland Park, Topeka, Kansas, Brainerd International Raceway, Mid America Motorplex in Iowa, and Motorsports Park Hastings in Hastings, Nebraska. She was retired after winning her first two races, undefeated, in June 2008. She now does HPDE's and car shows.
