Bought May of '05, after it sat for 8 years in a field. Amazing enough, when I received it there wasn't a speck of rust on the entire car(not even underneath). Other than being riddled with hail damage, the body was in immaculate condition. Originally silver, but had been Maaco'd to Flame Red Met., I then had it repainted the original silver and added stripes, as well as having a paintless dent removal company remove all of the hail damage, and then I added a goodmark steel cowl induction hood due to the near unsavable condition of the stock hood because of the beating it took from hail.
Stock 305 and 200-4r, Weld Pro-Stars and 85,000 original miles. My first car. Car was sold in December of '05 for $5000 because I needed a truck to haul my 4-wheelers. What a mistake...
Pics show its trip from Maroon, to Maroon with primer Goodmark Cowl hood, to Silver, to Silver with black stripes. Car was originally Silver in color.
