I didn't really have a passion for cars until I hit junior high and met a guy who has been my best friend since. His dad is a mechanic and taught me how to work on cars. He has a 1968 Camaro that he bought new off the showroom floor back in the day and just finished restoring it 2 years ago and entered it in the Camaro nationals car show in Carlisle Pa in 2006 just for the fun of it and actually won in his division. My buddy has always had a muscle car of some kind from early 70's Camaro's to a car he wishes he never got rid of a 1973 Corvette Stingray 454 t-topps and all matching numbers. He just recently purchased a 1968 Camaro convertible so next year he and his dad will enter both 68's together in Carlisle. As for my my history with cars besides the cars my dad bought me (71 Plymouth Fury 318- 1968 Chrysler New Yorker 383 which was very fast for a battleship on wheels- 1976 Chevy Nova not sure of engine size- 1976 Pontiac Grand Prix 350-400 Turbo Trans-1990 Black Camaro RS loved this car-1994 Chevy Lumina piece of crap- Presently 1998 Pontiac Bonneville SE which has been one of the best cars I've owned.
1971 Plymouth Fury. Not proud of it but when your 16 and your dad buys you a car you take it
1990 Camaro RS. It was the first new car I ever bought with my own money. It wasn't the fastest thing on the planet but it looked damn good.
