I ran a repair shop for Mercedes and BMW cars back in the 70's. Specialized in installing turbochargers and nitrous oxide kits for street Q-ships.
Since the ZEV initiative in California, I've studied electric cars and they've become my passion because of their quietness, reliability, efficiency, and low emissions.
I currently drive the only model of electric vehicle that GM ever sold - the 1998 GM Chevrolet S10 electric truck.

I really enjoy riding bikes around town. It's good exercise and low impact (I hope!). I never know when my stamina will give out so I have a bike with a rechargeable battery and motor to help me get home when my hip (broken a few years back) gives out.
