i've been a car jocky my whole life.it's in my blood.my dad has been a transmission rebuilder for almost 50 years,so i got started at a very early age.being in and around cars for the better part of my 40 years has its rewards.i dont have a lot of mechanic bills cauz' i do the work myself.i love almost all types of autos, some foreign but mostly domestic.i do own a nissan 240 sx se that will be kickin about 600RWHP when i get done with it.i really do want to get my 65 mustang back on the road.this car brought me home from the hospital when i was born so it has a very special place in my heart...cars i own now:1965 mustang coupe,1989 honda prelude(work car)35 mpg so don't laugh,1995 nissan 240sx and a 2000 ford explorer v-8 of course.actually the explorer is my wife's ride.
my first car was a 1972 2-door nova with a junky 307 2-barrel.wasn't rusted ,wrecked ,or in bad shape.come to think of it i'd like to have it back.sold it in 1984 to go to my junior prom.ended up riding with a friend.date didn't go so good !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!wish i would have kept the car.......
when i graduated in 1985 i went straight into the u.s.navy in san diego,ca.after bootcamp i bought my first car that i paid for,the nova was a birthday pres from my dad.500$ car.i bought a true smoky and the bandit 1977 pontiac trans-am 6.6 litre with the bird and everything.due to a terrible misunderstanding with the car lot when i got out of the military,i lost the car to a repo company.sad , i only owed 1 more payment of 250$ and it would have been mine....live and learn
it would be 2 cars:first would be my 1965 mustang coupe.my dad bought this car new,i finally talked him out of it about 1 1/2 years ago.it needs to be completely restored thats why its a dream car.2nd dream car would have to be a 1966 AC COBRA 427 side-oiled doug-nash 5-speed car is just a bad ass.
none yet.2 kids in school,a mortgage, and a car payment.between work and the ball field,,,,,,,,i barely have time to breathe!!!!!!!!!!!!!
