It all began as a very young kid when Matchbox were producing hot rod style Dinky toys & Monogram models. Then, as a teenager, a local car club 'Fine City Vans' would meet at La Rouen public house in my home town. It wasn't just vans that turned up, but anything with an 8.
I had to wait for many, many years before I could afford to own something like these guys had, but I'm finally there with a 1952 Dodge Pick-Up. It has a 4" roof chop & is powered by a Chevy 350. I've spent the last year & lots of money on her, but it's well worth it.
