Car: see also automobile; a personal conveyance that has only one real purpose, to get the operator to and from the airport and the aircraft stored there. A simple test will prove the lack of value of the car. Accelerate to 60 to 70 miles per hour (100 to 115 kilometers per hour), gently pull the steering wheel toward you. Note what happens. Now perform the same test in an aircraft. See the difference? Any fool can drive, and most do. Thank God the same is not true of flying.
