My Grandfather has a garage, my father is a mechanic, and now I'm continuing in that line as a gearhead. I guess I can say I discovered cars when I was 13, but actually got involved in them when I was 16, when I rebuilt my first engine. Since then, I've rebuilt a vehical, a few engines, and tinkered with much more. I love detailing vehicals, and then doing regular photoshoots. Such passions have earned me a spot in the 2007 Camarosource Calander. That of which, I am very proud of.
My first car is my current car infact. It is a 1983 Chevrolet Camaro Z28. Loaded with a 4bbl V8, T-Tops, 5 speed manual tranny, and Limited Slip.
When I purchased the car, it was a heap, but at the time, I didnt know anything really about the mechanical portion of automotive. Over the winter, we stripped the car down to her bones, and rebuilt her from the ground up.
Rebuilt her engine, tore out the interior, installed new floors, wheelwells, trunk, installed a new dash, replaced interior parts, all kinds of things were done to the car. This summer, Im going to get a start on the body, as I've come across a hood and nose that will replace my current ones. My current ones are damaged.
I've owned a 1984 Camaro Z28 parts car that I got rid of in October, and a 1984 Pontiac Fiero. I don't miss the Fiero, or the parts car lol
