I have lost count, but the last time I sat down and made a list I have owned somewhere in the neighborhood of 70+ vehicles since I started driving @ 16 (awhile ago!). I'm sure I had forgotten a few in there somewhere, but the point is they're like dope and represent a feeling of freedom that is only rivalled by my motorcycles!
What you drive and how it looks makes a statement about me and how I view myself. I am very particular about what I'll be seen in or driving. It's a matter of SELF!!!
Was a 1937 Ford 4-dr. Humpback w/ a 430 c.i. Lincoln for power backed by a LaSalle trans. Cars were so well made in those days you couldn't hardly dent it with a sledge hammer.
1). 1979 TransAM (big-block / loaded)
2). 1978 25th Anniversity Edition Corvette
3). 1972 Chevelle SS w/502 from GM Performance
4). 1969 Opel GT 1900 (look out vettes)
5). 1965 Corvair Corsa (140 h.p)....Best car ever!!!
To own another Classic Cruise Car before I die! Still undecided as to type, but if I can find one and swing it, just about any one would bring joy & that adrenrilin rush when you light up the rearend in buckets of burnt rubber & the sweet smell of smoke.
Not into car clubs except those you need to belong to to get into the car shows.
Best club is to hang with gearhead friends and enjoy the action & the days....one at a time!!!
