I recently finished the refreash of the 78 McClain Flower Car and took it to the 2012 Professional Car Society's annual International Show in Daytona Beach FL where it took first place in its class and was judged to be a Senior Car. That means that it scored at least 185 points out of a possible 200 and in future shows will be judged against other Senior Cars aka; the Best of the Best. I was both pleased and surprised with the outcome of the show; Senior Car status was a goal I had for the car, but I thought it would take another show to achieve.
Now I am focused on bringing the 92 Allante up to snuff. The safety issues have been addressed and the car is quite possibly more fun to drive than is legal is most states. Now I am working on the creature comforts - AC, music system and the like. Will report on that as it progresses.
1953 Plymouth Sedan ($5 car)
Any of the '55 Chevy's that passed through my fingers. There were 3.
My daily driver was a '02 STS, but is gone since I retired in Dec. 2010. My daily driver is now the '06 DTS that was the wife's car. I miss the STS but have little time since retiring to think about it.
