Well I was married to an AF guy for 7 years almost and he would NEVER allow me to learn how to work on my own cars. according to him that is why they have mechanic shops and oil change places. Well after 7 LONG years I finally divorced him and met the new husband. We have been married for 6 years now. About 5 and a half years ago we were out playing in the mud with our old Chevy K1500 4X4 and we blew up the power steering pump. He told me that since I was the one driving when it blew up that I was the one that was going to fix it. I explained to him that I never worked on a vehice before. He told me that I was going to have to learn if I was going to break something. I fixed it and it worked perfectly for several more years. I have not stopped learning about cars, I have not stopped working on them, and I have actually went a step further and actually started working at an oil change place that my ex husband always made me take the cars to just so I can learn and get some "under the hood" experience so I can go futher in this career. I love working on any and all type of vehicles EXCEPT the Toyota Prius. I hate those cars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
