I think it started when I popped out the womb! Dad had a 73 VeeDub.....auto shift and all! Always loved anything with wheels......my 6 or 8 big wheels (of which I burned the plastic tires off of generously),(never had a Big Green Machine--dagnabbit)-- loved my Hot Wheels, Corgi's, Matchbox, Models---can remember picking up any car books or mags I could find on base at the PX (Air Force brat, thank ya)---- Loved the 73 Monte Carlo in Plum-----the 4 door 73 Gran Torino with the 351-----always had to have it worked on. Mom had both. I always was drawing, playing, thinking about cars. Watching Starsky and Hutch, Rockford Files, Smoky and the Bandit, Dukes of Hazzard----Daisy, was of course my 1st crush, right? Right! The Fall Gy with Lee Major--the truck, and HEATHER THOMAS and MARKIE POST! How 'bout Hardcastle and Mccormick, or Magnum with the Ferrari?
Got older and have had to try and learn the in's and out's of working on my cars/trucks/bikes--always learning something new----even if I have done it before.
Don't like to work on one when I HAVE to, but LOVE to work on one when I don't have to!
