Mini Truckin Nationals
Minitrucks Cruise the Mountains at Mini Truckin Nationals 2020
Mini Truckin Nationals is the biggest and baddest custom car and truck show to hit the streets of Maggie Valley, North Carolina. Unfortunately the car show had to be postponed from the usual April dates to October 23 – 25 due to the Coronavirus pandemic. The date change didn’t seem to matter, as they had the largest turnout ever for this event! As the beautiful leaves of the Smoky Mountains were changing to fall colors, it created an amazing backdrop for the car show.
The Street Trucks Magazine crew were set up the entire weekend to bring viewers at home nonstop live event coverage of the whole show! As the sun rose on Friday morning, tons of custom cars and trucks lined the streets to enter the gates of the Maggie Valley Fairgrounds. This show has everything from lifted to lowered to crazy custom!
Maggie Valley, North Carolina is a perfect location for car shows as it is just minutes away from the Blue Ridge Parkway. Maggie Valley is also just a short cruise away from Harrah’s Cherokee Casino.
As the fairgrounds began to fill up with custom cars and trucks the spectators flocked to the show. This truck and car show brings out tons of top-quality builds such as SEMA winning vehicles and trucks. With the beautiful backdrop of the orange and yellow leaves, the paintwork on the vehicles really stands out.
Another great part of Mini Truckin Nationals is the cruise and dragging that occurs on the main street of Maggie Valley. If you aren’t familiar with dragging it is when the vehicle lowers the suspension as low as it can go so that it drags the ground and creates sparks as it drives down the road. This is one of the only car shows on the East Coast that allow dragging so it is a fan favorite! Be sure to watch the live stream of the entire event to catch the cruising and dragging first hand!
