About MURDOCH’s Garage
About me and my passion for cars
I started taking lawn mower engines apart when i was 8 years old and was always in the garage helping my Dad work on something. I
joined the army after High School as a Truck mechanic, when i got out i started working on Heavy Equipment, and then transitioned in to car repair. Been doing it ever since. I guess it was what i was born to do and i love it!
My first car
My first car was a 1977 Dodge Colt with a 1.6L
4 cylinder and a 4 speed transmission. It was the older rear wheel drive set up. I put a set of sapporo wheeels i got off a "76 Plymouth Arrow parts car along with the houndstooth bucket seats and had a wooden t handle shifter. My Dad and i rebuilt the engine and carb which was a lot of fun. Loved that car!
Car I wish I still had
In High School i got rid of my Dodge Colt and traded it for a 1971 Dodge Charger SE. I got tired of the Charger when i got a hold of a 1979 Z28 with a 4-Speed and let the charger go. BIG MISTAKE!
My dream car
Toss between a 1956 Porsche Speedster or a
AC Cobra real or kit would not matter on the Cobra, but with the porsche it would have to be the real deal.
