1991 Harley-Davidson Softail Custom (Sinsled)
Last updated Feb 2, 2009
Had a bro that worked at the Harley dealer and he was telling me about this bike he was going to buy. He was denied financing on it... So I went down and looked at this bike at Bears & Roses Harley Davidson in Bend, Oregon. It was on consignment and it was the end of February, early March, lots of snow, not much motorcycling going on... I loved the fat front fender, so was checking it out. Consignment dude had 24K into it and the price tag was $19,995.00 So I offered $17,500.00 and the sales dude was like, "No way, he has $24K in that thing..." I said "Look man, offer him $17K, are you selling bikes or not..." The next day I got a call, they accepted and financing was good to go. The rest is history!
80" stroker motor, plenty of power, did not dyno as of yet, still building motor.
Stretch tanks, twisty spokes, Wide Glide front end on a Softail Springer frame. Hand made billet front turn signals, one off. Ape hangers, all chrome controls. Building a nasty 80" stroker motor with wicked heads, oversize valves, hogged out combustion chambers. 5 speed. Blew up motor at Sturgis last year, so thing is currently a basket case until the new motor is done. Upswept fishtails, not in this photo.
