This was my seconed bike. After one summer of my 92 FZR, I thought I needed to step up a notch. After all my friend Jake just went from a Kawasaki Ninja 600 to a 900 Ninja. I drove 24 hours to buy this bike from my buddy in Flordia back in 06. Paid $4,500 for that bike, who knew it would cost me so much more. After 6 months of owning this bike, I wrecked it. I was on my way to work early saturday morning. Flying about 70 in a 30 like I always do on my saturday commute to work. I topped a hill and seen a car at the next hill, so I slowed down and he started go, but then he must have seen me because he stopped. I then continued on the throttle back to speed thinking he was letting me pass, boy could I ever be so wrong. At the last seconed this guy leaves the stop sign and pulls out infront of me, and I T-bone him. Ended up life flighted to hospital, with a broken leg, arm, finger and many cuts. After 6 months of rehab and a few plates, rods, and screws I am able to walk again. After being able to walk again I rebuilt this bike, Which leads to my third bike....
