Body work

By chevygirl_78

Ok, so I have a local shop that is allowing me to use their shop to do some body work on my car, I have been hangin out up there for a few days now, and started on the car today. All we are doing for now is trying to stop the cancer as best as we can. The rust hole in both front fenders oddly enough hasnt gone through the fenders all the way but with out the proper parts to fix the problem, I am grinding away as much rust as i can then using some body filler to fill the holes (temporarily). I moved on to my driver side door. the skin at least needs to be replaced on that door. Now, I moved to the passenger rear quarter panel. Thinking the rust bubble was more less surface rust, oh was i wrong, i ground off some rust and that rust was all the way through the quarter! I was a bit shocked, but i was kind of expecting that. I took a little more awat to try to find some good metal, and as I did I noticed something in the quarter panel. I looked, and looked, pulled something out, I looked at it, and what do you know, I had fire crackers in me rear quarter panel! and they were old. we tried to lite one thinking maybe it would still lite...Nope it smoldered for a second and went out. Now that being said, I am curious to know if there are any more mysterious things in my car!
