If you go to an open space camp, you need to bring a lot of things and unsafe. Thus, to some of the facilities were perfect place to camp, it will be a very simple way.
Whipsnade Zoo; hot air ballooning above the Chilterns; the Grand Union Canal; country parks, theme parks, skate parks, safari parks; and endless cycling, walking, and horse trails - with all this going on in the area surely the BBC's Room 101 was wrong to consign Leighton Buzzard to the bin? When the wild out, remember to bring a flashlight torch.
The sheep-rearing Town Farm family-owners have enjoyed living here for generations regardless, and have opened their land to campers looking to extol this part of Bedfordshire, too. The camping field is behind a barn and is vast. Tents can be pitched at the foot of Ivinghoe Beacon, where the famous Ridgeway Walk starts its journey to Wiltshire, or looking down over the Vale of Aylesbury.
Ignore the pylon wire that runs along the right of the site, and head left towards the Chilterns, passing a new, hip washing block with dark-brown chalet-style wood exterior and minimal white chic interior, to pitch at the far end.
Frazzled parents looking for activities to wear out their brood have so much choice both on and off site (there are swings, a football goal, and a trampoline on the grounds, plus a pick-your-own farm that opens to the public in summer) that everyone will snooze soundly at night.
Camping is a good opportunity in their own way, but also to relax and interact with others.
