Epic Driving Fail!

Ok, so here I am at work, having a pretty descent day...I am getting a part for a commercial account when we hear a loud thud. We look around and then look outside...Across the street there are a few cars on the side of the road...We are thinking ok someone hit something. We keep watching when the phone rings, we find out that it was one of our employees. She flipped the delivery truck in the woods. Now I aint completely dumb and have some CSI skills...I can pretty much tell you what happened. She claimed that the brakes went out and she lost control...HELL NO! I know good and well they didnt go out. I had the brakes replaced a couple of months ago, and the brake fluid was full. You know what happened? I do. She wasnt paying attention, veered off the road, plowed over a cable box, and I mean flattened it, snapped the spindle, the tire , hub assembly, rotor, and caliper flew off and bounced down the road. She then lost control, and flipped the truck into the woods. I WILL NOT give her the benefit of the doubt at all. This is her third accident! Her husband is trying to defend her by saying the spindle was already broken. Well how can you tell it was already broken? I can tell you it was NOT, there was no rust where it snapped. The spindle broke when she plowed over the cable box, I have a pretty good feeling she was speeding too, I have seen her drive so its not hard to believe. Needless to say the truck is totaled. She got out ok, but I think she is out of a job this time.

I'm with Zigby: 1) She's outta there, and 2) Sue her for the insurance deductible on this and the previous two accidents AND the amount that the company's insurance premiums go up for, say, the next ten years or so!

haha your telling me. its just amazing to me that she still has a job after the first and second accident, maybe this time they will see she is an extremely high risk for the company.

I think she should have bought herself a truck. It's quit knowing that that was a driver's error.I think she would be working for free behind a counter to pay off her new smashed truck.
