Yes, that's my shop. To make matters worse we got more snow today. Enough to close schools, roads and apparently stop the crews from doing any work on holding back the river or be able to plow (but that's a rant for another time and place).

I've heard (unconfirmed) that in my case this could have been prevented if someone from the city had remembered to close a valve on a storm drain leading to the river. (the river is just over the hill to the left in the pic.)

It probably wouldn't be so bad, but besides water there's sewage and fuel and other fluids from various engines, trannies, buckets/cans and a kero heater in there. In the shop are The Phoenix and all of the parts for her, the black Blazer I was rebuilding for my d/d and Kevin's beautiful '85 Cutlass that was waiting on a rebuilt Pont. 400. All the vehicles I wanted to keep safe. The parted out S-10 pickup and the '77 Colt were left out in the weather, but are higher up the hill and therefore safe.

More than likely I won't be able to get in there until after the 1st of the month to get an idea of the true fate of the cars/trucks.
