About “Black Betty”

Simply put, my dad had an old Friend that had it sitting in a barn for some number of years, and he didn't want it, so he sold it to my dad for $500, which he then gave to me. I am now fixing it up and have sanded and primered the whole car, and currently waiting to put it in the paint shop.

I have finally logged back on here. Let's see. The paint job has been done for a number of months now, I painted the rims black with a gold outline, then recently purchased and fitted a set of American Racing AR-23 rims for the baby. New Sony XPLOD Head unit has been installed after blowing the previous one. An Insignia 1,000 watt Amp powers two Rockford Fosgate P1 Punch Subwoofers in the trunk, and two Kicker 6" x 9" speakers ring your ears in the back seats, inbetween the seats and the rear view window. I am currently awaiting some free time to install my two Insignia 3 1/2" speakers in the dashboard. I painted the inside of the grill black, and just walked inside from blacking out some headlight trim I just bought today at a Salvage Yard (Props to Pull-A-Part).
