Description: After a suprise engine failure due to #8 piston connecting rod gave up hope and decided to run outside the cylinder block, imminant failure was the reason for a new short block assembly from Scoogins and Dickey, A fresh cylinder head job and a new 4L60E transmission overhaul when the front pump was damaged when engine came to an abrupt halt. All said and done took the time to freshen up the engine bay, engine cross member, A arms, knuckles, etc. to give a spice to life when all things go back together.
