About
This is the 1st 34 Chev coupe to have come into the family way back in the late 1960's and was my first rod. This was a 3 window full fendered rod with a 401 nailhead and 3 speed manual in what was not much more than a shell of a car. It was a high school ride for me and I imposed on everyone I knew to do some work on it. A girlfiriend did the rumble seat, shop teacher helped with the engine, friends dad with the body work and the wood floors by me.The coupe became well known in the area as strictly straight line car. A master coupe with the side mounts, Econoline front end, 57 Chevy rear and was a handful to control. Great high school rod when they were simple, cheap and fast.
I saw it at a Waterdown rod show a few years ago now with a 454 chevy and an automatic transmission
