1957 Chevrolet 4 door 210 (Kermit)

This is the first of my collection. Got her in 97. found her in the back lot of an equipment-tool rental business. The shop owner sold her to me for 1500 bucks. We had her trucked home(she would not start). Got her running in 30 minutes. She had been stored out in the elements for over 20 years and had only 4 little rust spots on he...the quarters and the front fender heels. What looks like rust creeping in on the doors and roof was actually years of dirt and grime. I actually took a week and spent my time rubbing out the old laquer paint. Surprisingly enough she spiffed up pretty good!! Drove her around for a year like that. No bondo in the body, all metal repair panels were welded in the bad spots and then she got an original color paint job. I did the whole interior myself. Original material seat covers, door panels, carpet and headliner and windlace annd the window fuzzies. A few years ago I decided to have her done in original two-tone colors...Highland Green and Surf Green.
she has a hopped up 283c.i. Duntov cam, tri-power set-up, the 3 speed on the column, and dual exhaust. Old school (50's style) minor hot-rodding!! Going down the road she looks tame, but she's a SLEEPER!!
Duntov cam, tri-power, dual exhaust, tach and gauge set.
