About
1964 CHEVROLET CORVAIR 900 MONZA CONVERTIBLE
Goldenrod Yellow - Black Interior
110 HP Air-cooled Six
Powerglide Automatic
I owned the Corvair from 2001 until 2009. I spotted it under a cover in a driveway, passing by it for many months...bought it non-running and installed a reproduction tar-top Delco battery, drained the tank, installed rebuilt carbs, fuel pump, fuel sender, tune up..got it running; installed new tires and new nos parts including exhaust, lights and bezels, exterior trim and wheel covers. It ran well but the car needed a full restoration including the body, floors, interior and top..decided against the cost and chose to find a rust-free example another time.
