1967 Chevrolet Chevelle SS (Dad's Baby)
Last updated Oct 26, 2013
My dad had wanted a 1967 Chevy Chevelle SS since he was about 7-years old. He found this one in 1999. He took it to get restored at Mild To Wild Restoration, and found out that the engine in it had come out of a 1968 Chevy Truck. He got a wild hair to just stick a 502 Ram Jet in it and call it done, but it wouldn't fit. So he went with a 454 and it runs great. It sees many car shows in New Mexico and receives many comments.
- 454 big block
- Turbo400 Transmission
- 425 horsepower
The car came, originally, with factory air conditioning and power windows, which is a combination we haven't found in many other cars at shows.
Just the engine!
