Drove to Monroe Lousiana to get this car. made it in a weekend. Have to say it was worth the trip.
Just got it running again, have a trip to test and tune Wed. night for some shakedown runs. Excited!!!
1967 Barracuda, back-halved, ladder bars, Dana 60 with 4.88's, 14-32/15 Hoosiers, 8 pt cage with halo, aluminum interior, 440 - .060 overbore, TRW flat tops, H beam rods, steel crank, Indy 440-sr heads, 2.18/1.88 valves, bowl blended and polished, small solid roller cam .640/.660ish lift, Edelbrock 440 Victor intake, port marched and plenum polished, Proform 850 cfm carb, 4 hole tapered spacer, Hooker Super-comp fenderwell headders, 727 trans with transbrake.
Havn't run 1/4 mile yet. best 1/8 mile run with solid tappet cam and steel heads was a 7.20 at 93 mph. I hope to greatly improve those numbers with the current setup. Hoping it'll end up in the 6.50's.. We shall see....
