We bought the white VW (Lilly) in 1990 and completely restored it, and showed it for several years. It had the wrong year engine and transmission when we bought it, and it was originally faded red with black interior (what there was of it).

We found the correct engine/trans and rebuilt them, and we changed the color to total white inside and out. The only thing not white is the grey carpet.

The white VW is my wifes and the red VW (Rose) was mine, which we sold a few years ago when I retired.

Both are stock and in show car condition.

The white VW has a factory Sunroof.

Mods

My wifes high school car was a white 67 Type I sunroof that she had installed a CB radio in. When we restored this one to be like her high school car we also installed a CB. You see the antenna on the rear bumper.
