1969 Volkswagen Beetle (AutoBug)

Last updated Nov 4, 2011

Photo of a 1969 Volkswagen Beetle (AutoBug)

Wanted to own and try one of the improved semi automatic VW Beetles that came out first back in 1968 so i kept looking for long until i found my 1969 Beetle and bought it, it was a very nice solid complete car when i bought it, i did what i wanted to do to make it look and drive the way it should and i enjoyed it ever after that.. till i sold it ;(

Was powered by a Normal O4 engine that displaces 1493.00 cc. It produces 53.00 BHP at 4200.00 RPM and 78.00 Ft-Lbs at 2600.00 RPM. | 91.1 cu in. | 1.5 L
4 speed Semi automatic transmission

Factory Options

Automatic Stick Shift, which was actually a semi-automatic; the clutch pedal was eliminated, but the driver still had to move the shift lever to choose between the three forward gears.
Dual-circuit brakes, backup lights, locking steering wheel and a collapsible steering column that was added for safety, double-jointed rear axles, rear defroster, day/night rearview mirror,

sunroof, Alpine audio system
