That car should go on The Bandit Run this year we will have several General Lee cars and the Starsky and hutch car would fit the time period perfect !

1974 Ford Gran Torino Starsky and Hutch Replica (The Tomato)

This is my secret project car. I bought it from a really cool dude who wanted a motorcycle. He had put in a lot of sweat and labor fixing it up and when I bought it from him it was drivable. In fact I drove it to a local High School and they have torn down the engine and are hoping it and tweaking it a little more then what it was when I got it.

There wasn't anything wrong with the car when I got it and the motor had been rebuilt by the previous owner, it just wasn't strong enough for my likings and I wanted to put a C6 trans in it. It has a FMX that works just fine but, I think I need a stronger one that can handle the new power the car will have when it is finished.

Most of the restoration was done by the previous owner and I am letting two local high schools tweak it out for me. I think it will be awesome to take it to shows and be able to show the public what our young kids can do if given the right opportunity. I am looking forward to getting it back on the road soon.
