- This is the way a Jeep should look and how it should be used. Not a soccer mom Jeep that never sees dirt. I sure miss my 73 CJ I bought in Oklahoma City. It had made a few trips to Colorado for real adventure.

About
This is my 2nd vehicle ever owned. I purchased this as a way to have an adventure by not being bound to the asphalt to slow me down. I still have this vehicle to date. It has seen a number of changes in it's life. It has had a frame off restoration some 10 years ago now. I use mud race this at various compitions through out the Gulf Coast area of Texas.
Specs
Currently it has an AMC 390 cid engine that came out of a AMX. It has been bored 0.30" over and has 70 model dog leg port heads. It has the Holly projection TB injection. Transmission is a T18 granny 4 spd
Rear axle is a Dana 44 with 4.88:1 gear ratio and a Detroit locker, frnt axle is a Dana 30 with 4.88:1 ratio and Tru-trac posi. Riding 35"X14.5"X15" Monster Mudders and Eagle Polished aluminum wheels.
Factory Options
304 cid with T150 3 spd transmission, Dana 20 transfer case, AMC corporate rearend, Dana 30 front axle with 3:54.1 gear ratio, manual steering, 4 wheel drum brakes.
