About

these are my first 2 77 t/as,the 1st was orig bought brand new off the show room floor from beaman pontiac downtown nashville, early eighties it was sold to a small tote the note lot(quantiy auto sales) on hermitage avenue where it sit for a very long time and the car lot owner pulled the drivetrain to put in a low mileage hurst olds,in the early nineties by dag bought it for me,it was missing engine/trans and orig wheels,2 rust spots had formed on each side of the lower rear quarters, the vinyl black interior was still nice as it was new, body was still straight other than some light surface rust here and there and the 2 rust spots, sadly it didnt have t-tops but i was still really siked about it,it even still had the orig 8track in it lol, apparently there was intentions of putting a engine back in it cause some idiot(prob car lot owner)cheaply painted the fenderwells and rad support with cheap chrome/silver paint to try to dress it up,best i rem the car had under 70k orig miles on the body when we bought it,any way we ran up on another 77 with hurst t-tops cheap so we bought it and id hoped to fix it up but it had been hit hard in the rear and cheaply fixed, floor boards had holes, interior was ruff,1 t-top was busted but held togther by the tint that was on it lol,it had the 403 olds engine 350 trans and 2:56 posi re,i ended up parting this one out cause it had no title, vin said it was a 77 but cowl tag said it was a 75 and the fact it was ruff,so we pulled the drivetrain to put in the hardtop 77 and somebody swipped the drivetrain before we could.so later on we got a good deal on a 350/350 out of a malibu well it turned out to be a dang 305,well atleast it was drivable and ran like a champ and couldnt believe the power from the 305 but later found out it had a 3:73 posi,i had it for a lil while i had intentions of putting the 15x7 snowflakes on it fromt he other car but i got a nice set of 14inch olds rally wheels with new tires so i painted them gold and stuck them on there til i could afford to redo the snowflakes and put tires on them, not much longer after that my dad bought me the 80 turbo and there was something about it that said let the 77 go so i sold it to one of my cousins who lost it to the metro nashville impound and didnt tell me about it til the had done auctioned it off and he still never paid me for it.i would love to buy this car back as it was my first t/a but it probaly has been parted out by now i hope not, there is a lot of stuff i know about it incase it ever resurfaces i will know if its the one i had,i put a pic of the ht and the t-top 77 above
