This 2+2 was next to a barn in the country between Centreville and Constantine (MI). The kid that owned it had lost his license (DUI) and it didn't run too good. The clutch and starter didn't work, and it was loud. I gave the kid $50, put air in the tires and pushed it out to the road. The kid and I pushed it up to about 5 mph. I proceeded to jump in, pop the trans in second, and drove it all 12 miles back home, praying I didn't have to come to a full stop at traffic lights and stop signs!
After I replaced the clutch slave cylinder, starter and swapped out the seats with better ones (the old ones STANK) I drove it around a while. I learned a lot about mysterious "black boxes" (primitive ECU's) and Datsun fuel injection on this car! It finally sold to a guy from Grand Rapids who bought it as a "Father - Son project" for $750 in 1998.
