This is Monograms 1980 Chevy Corvette called Corvette America.The original car was a 1978 Chevy Corvette built by California Custom Coach out of Pasadena California.The front and rear bumpers are different in the kit then they are on the real 1978 car and the '80 doesn't have the aluminum strip that seperates the t-tops.On the '78 the windshield trim was chrome and on the '80 the trim was blacked out.In 1980 there were 5 four door Corvettes built and there is only 2 left that were built by California Custom Coach 1 is in Florida and the other is in northern CA. with 20,000 original miles.It sold for $500,000.
