this is my 84 gt convertible. I am building this car to be a good street car..summer daily driver. as long as the weather is good.
this car is in the process of getting repainted....new colors coming....cant wait....

Specs

this is one of 77 built with this color interier combination. was built in sept of 83. I am the second owner and I got it with 167k on it. when I brought it home and put it up on a lift I was delighted to see it doesn't have any rust except surface rust on the frame and floors. It had so much sand under it that it didn't rust. although the sand between the spare tire well and the gas tank wore a hole in each. I had to get the gas tank replaced. after fixing the tank and had to get new brake hubs in the rear I had to get tires. it had the trx tires on it so I had to get new wheels too. found the cobra replicas 17x9 from OE wheels in sarasota fl. went to weber tires to get bridgestone fuzion tires (z rated). then the speakers kept going out so I had to replace the stereo. I bought a pioneer in dash cd player and had all the speakers replaced. rockford fosgates in the dash and alpines in the rear. next I rebuit the motor.

Factory Options

comes with lots of options including cruise control, a/c, (a/c didn't work and has been eliminated) premium sound system with the amp. (has been replaced). trx wheel tire package. (has been replaced). electric top,

Mods

the motor has been rebuilt. it is now a balanced 306. it has an edlebrock 600 cfm carb, edlebrock rpm performer intake, comp cam, gt 40 heads that have been totally rebuilt. new valves,springs and roller rockers. trw pistons, felpro gaskets, arp bolts. cyclone headers with flowmaster exhaust, ford motorsports clutch. I also put on a cobra air cleaner and valve covers for apperence.
