About
My sister bought this car new in 1990, and my wife and I bought it from her about 10 years ago for my wife to use as a daily driver. I had a little mishap one day and it went through the garage door, so I decided, what the hell let's give it a paint job. So we painted it black and put silver flames on it. Then a few years of it still being a daily driver I though, lets make it look really cool so I invested in a body kit and some new wheels. Getting a body shop to install the fiberglass body kit was way to expensive with all the modifications it needed so I decided to do it myself. I had to narrow the front bumper 3 inches as well as add a bit to the top, as well as adding to the wheel opening. It was my first attempt at working with fiberglass, but with some advice from my friendly body shop supply owner, it turned out pretty good. I molded the side ground effects to the body as well as doing a few modifications to the rear bumper. Then we painted it flat black and added some traditional hot rod flames. It's not your typical tuner, but it's a very cool looking car.
