Our road has had our share of birds. When my son was looking for his first car, he just looked across the street.(2001) The girl next door had a sweet little black 91' bird that she hadn't driven in three years. Not wanting to let "Sonny Boy" learn to drive on my 79' Olds. 403 TA, we decided that the neighbor's 6 cyl. would be a good start.
I learned to airbrush on "Fire". He made quite an impression on my son's classmates!
After a few years (and 1 slip into a corn field), he upgraded to a 91' with a 350. Midnight Fire became my daily driver. Now with 214,000, he's running out of steam (and sheet metal). But, since I'm trying to keep the mileage off of "Fireball", he's the only other vehicle we own that gets 20 mpg. (Besides the Honda 1300 VTXR). My son? He's married, just bought a house and now driving a 90' Buick Century!!!!!
Midnight Fire has now joined a new family in Maine. 225,000 miles and they were glad to get her!
