About
My wife purchased this car in 2000 and we drove it until July of 2012. We absolutely loved this car but it was time to let go. It was a really tough decision after owning the car for so long but it just had too many mechanical problems and nobody could figure out what was wrong. Instead of dumping more money into it, we decided it was time to let go. We have lots to remember it by though. Before we parted with the car, we kept all the badges, front seats and nose piece. We have the seats in our living room, the badges were made into refrigerator magnets and the nose piece will be hung in the garage. I always liked the styling of this generation Grand Am. IMO, this car drives and handles so much better than any of today's cars in it's class. Grutle1 had only 92,000 miles on it. Not bad for a '94. The car that replaced the Grand Am is a 2001 Blue Green Chameleon Trans Am. We now have 3 2001 Trans Ams.
