1995 Chevrolet Camaro RS (95 camaro)
Last updated Nov 3, 2009
I bought this car as somewhat of a project in the middle of my senior year by this time I had a 4x4, and I had a jetta.. so I figured it was time for some american "muscle" even though it was a 6 cyl.. however I didn't know it was a "project" when I first found it. I called the guy asked him all of the typcal questions and he said it needed nothing but a driver.. you know how those stories go.. so I went down (3 hours) away to buy and drive back the car. When I got there I tried it our, when I parked it in the driveway again I noticed it was reving to high and that there was oil squirting out of the bottom of the motor.. Wonderful signs when you expect to drive it back home once agian it was a 3 hour drive.. I told the guy that he lied and got a bit mad and went home.. About two days later, I called him up saying that I was going to come back with a car dolly and purchase the car. I borrowed my friends dad's 98 GMC 1500.. which according to U-haul was NOT big enough to handle that car.. Quick on my feet I was like oh.. well crap I'll just get that sentra then that I was looking at. So I told U-haul that I was getting a sentra instead.. I had a death wish from my buddies dad saying that if anything happened to his truck that we would be dead (me and my buddy) laughing saying nothing would happen we headed out. We were getting off the Newport exit and right on the off ramp I blew a brake line and lost my brakes.. Just telling my friend that it was nothing we kept going. We got to the camaro at about 10pm.. Loaded everything up and paid $1300 for the car with 84k miles and I got him to throw in a set of $1800 18" rims with the car since I had to make two trips and because he had lied... I drove the truck (with no brakes) back 3 hours to my house. After everything my friends dad was actually happy?? Because he said that he knew that they were going anyways? But what ever I replaced a cracked oil sensor and a PVC valve and she was A ok!
3.4L V6, 5-speed, I'm not sure what it's top speed was.. I had it going 110 in 4th.. and the speedo only went to 110.. so haha I'm not sure.
It was your basic camaro, no power, A/C. power steering, tape deck..
Stage two chip, cold air intake, 180 degree thermostat, true dual flowmasters, high flow cats, 18" chrome rims, 2 10" sony subs, performance plugs and wires, blue interior neons.
