1996 Pontiac Grand Prix SE Coupe 3.1L V6.
Summary:
This car is in perfect running condition. It has about 146,000 miles on it but only 40,000 miles on motor and only 6,000 miles after the rebuild. Perfect everyday driver and is fairly fuel efficient (about 21 MPG with regular driving). Has many extras that make for a more exciting driving experience. The car does have some problems but they are so minor that they are not even worth fixing. (read below for problems).
I am selling the car for $4,000 OBO. I will consider all reasonable offers.
1-818-913-0971 and my name is Ustin
Complete History:
The car was purchased in 1996 with every dealer option available.
Sunroof
2nd gear start
Power windows
Power door locks
Adjustable steering wheel
Premium rims
The original owner had the car until 2007 when it was bought by my brother-in-law.
The engine was replaced in 2004 at about 100,000 miles. The engine was put in half-assed and some of the gaskets blew in august 2008
This is when I bought it from my brother-in-law
I had to rebuild most of the engine:
Brand new gaskets
Brand new port-polished heads with new valves and rocker arms.
Brand new water pump
I also replaced the A/C compressor because the old one was leaking
Brand new serpentine belt.
I added a high-flow air filter
New spark plugs and wires
Brand new fuel pump
Checked all the bushings and bearings (all were in perfect condition)
Checked the piston rings (also perfect condition)
New thermostat and cleaned the radiator
Brand new tires and new brakes
Window tints (limo on the back 3 windows and 50% on the front 2)
New radio with CD player
New speakers all around
Has hookup for a subwoofer box
Green neon glow under the car and inside (has a concealed switch)
It does have some minor problems:
The left turn signal has a bad contact so it needs a tug to go on and it doesn’t click off after the turn (right turn signal is completely fine).
The A/C works but it is stuck in the window/feet position

About
The car was bought in 1996 from the dealer with every option available. My brother-in-law bought it as a slave car in the end of 2007. It broke down on him in September 2008. This is when i took it off his hands and rebuilt the engine. The problem was a faulty lower intake gasket. I got new heads and piston rings while i was changing the gasket. Since then, this car has been my every day driver and i have been slowly modifying it.
