Well, this is the second 4th gen T/A I've owned, and hopefully I will keep it for the long-run. I found this car after trying to take the practical approach and bought a foreign car. After feeling the need for a Trans Am again for several consecutive weeks, I found this car. It turned out to be a good deal! I'm very happy to be in a real muscle car again. The ram air LT1 rocks.

- 3,800 cc 3.8 liters 6 V front longitudinal engine with 96.5 mm bore, 86.4 mm stroke, 9.4 compression ratio, cast iron block, cast iron head, overhead valve and two valves per cylinder

Well, originally I wanted to wait until the factory head unit crapped out. But...the need for solid sound took over and (with phone-tech-support from my brother-in-law) I removed all of the driver's side interior plastic pieces and installed a new CD...
