2001 Chrysler Sebring Convertible LXi Limited (Sapphire)
Last updated Jul 17, 2013
I bought this vehicle after having a "used" engine put in. I'm the third owner and the used engine had 53k miles on it. So what! Now, there is an oil leak that is suspected to be a valve o-ring. The car runs GREAT and I'm so unhappy about this issue. I plan to keep the car forever because I like it so much! I need to find a Sebring Convertible Club to get some experienced pointers about my Sapphire Beauty. I graced the wheels with four brand new Toyo Extendze because I am nuts about Toyo Tires, because they make a TRUCK ride as smooth as a Cadillac! I had to replace the factory radio and disconnect the 6 disc CD changer (didn't like that) because it seemed to have a short of some sort that no one wanted to be bothered with. My new gadget is excellent. The factory AMP does not power the rear speakers though!!!??? Weird. I had the front strut assemblies replaced and the damage from the old ones was awful. The woman who had the car before me abused it really bad. I have to get the rear struts done as well. I also had to replace the passenger rear electric window motor with regulator. My rear same-side-tail-light-lens was nicely cracked and I replaced it with a used one from pick-n-pull salvage yard in Tallahassee, Florida. So much for now. I'll write more as progress is made with my Sapphire.
