2004 Ford F-150 STX (The Truck)
Last updated Jan 21, 2011
I bought this truck brand new in 2004 and I'm still driving it. It's a basic, bottom-of-the-line truck with no power windows or door locks. It took me 3 years to pay it off and after that I started customizing it. It's been in only 1 accident and I fixed the truck myself since I'm a mechanic at a family owned shop. I used the extra insurance money to buy new rims and tires. I never have problems with it because I properly take care of it like it was my child.
4.6L V8 with SuperChips (along with other go-fast goodies) putting out 300 hp and 310 torque. Never took it to the track. I want to but I love my truck and I don't want anything bad to happen to it.
STX flareside model. There are no power windows and door locks and no cruise control.
SuperChips programmer, AirRaid intake system, PowerAid throttle body spacer, Gibson exhaust, 22" KMC Slide with 305/40R22 rubber, custom grille with lights (not a dealer item), black headlights from a newer F-150, clear tail lights (will be getting black LED tail lights soon), smoked LED 3rd brake light, Ground Force lowering kit (3/5), custom GPS mounted where dash tray used to be (bought it on eBay), AutoMeter gauges, Pioneer touchscreen DVD/CD/MP3/Sirius Satellite radio, 4 MTX speakers in the doors, 2 Kicker 12" shallow subs in home made box powered by one 500 watt Kicker amp for the door speakers and one 1,000 watt amp for the subs.
